Condition B+ / B: losses and tears at edges; staining and creases in margins and image. Paper. In 1732, Conrad Beissel began an experiment in faith in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, a splinter group of the German Baptist Brethren, winning over many followers. The spiritual community which lasted until Beissel's death in 1768, built eight major structures and several smaller ones.
