Yoshida was a very active designer in Japan in the early 1980s, creating a famous book on Issay Miyake, Katsu on Issay, and working on a campaign for Budweiser. The beer campaign was all over Tokyo, appearing in different formats and venues. It shows how creative Japanese designers were in the 1980s, and the willingness of major brands to give artistic freedom to graphic designers in their quest to advertise their products.
