In Haring's Andy Mouse series of four screenprints and same-titled painting, Andy Warhol's face is superimposed over Mickey Mouse's body, paying homage to Haring's friend and to Walt Disney, creating the ultimate commercialized icon. Haring admired Warhol and believed that Warhol's Pop works made his own possible.
