This was Keith Haring's first poster. "Haring had twenty thousand copies of his first poster printed on his own initiative. On June 2, 1982, he transported the stack of paper in a handcart to what was the largest demonstration to date against nuclear weapons and the arms race, which took place in Central Park in NEw York. There were one million protesters, and Haring gave his posters away for free." (Haring p. 106).
