PROGRAM FROM DINNER DURING HIS WHISTLE STOP IN APPLETON, WI KENNEDY, JOHN F. Signature, "John Kennedy," as Senator, on cover of mimeographed program for the Outagamie County Democratic Dinner held in Appleton, WI, on April 11, 1959. The program, sheet folded into quarters forming 4 pages with a printed introduction on cover, printed program notes on third page, and with newsletter printed on unfolded sheet verso. Written in the blank areas of the program are the notes of a young attendee recording JFK's remarks on subjects such as unemployment, farm policy, and McCarthyism, in pencil. 4 pages, 12mo, pale blue paper; signature written over JFK's faded printed signature, remnants of prior mounting at corners of fourth page, faint scattered staining, minor loss to one corner. Kennedy returned to Appleton to deliver a campaign speech on March 11, 1960, in which he discussed natural resources and national debt.
