one of only twenty-five unnumbered copies signed by kent in ink, on the colophon. Created as a souvenir for a birthday dinner for Adler on April 30, 1929. Adler, the noted book collector, printer, and publisher, founded the Pynson Printers in 1922 and a year after this Kent souvenir, became a principal creator of The Colophon, the influential and long-running journal of the printing arts.
