Kiki Smith designed this menu cover for a dinner to benefit the Bill T. Jones/ Arnie Zane Dance Company at Chanterelle restaurant in New York. Maya Angelou and Odetta and Max Roach attended the dinner as chairperson and special guests, respectively.
