Delicately hand-tinted albumen prints, 8x10 1/4 inches (20.3x26 cm.), flush mounted, most with the original tissue guards; with a caption, in English, and an inventory number in the negative; Kimbei's hand stamp appears on the front pastedown. Oblong folio, dynamic black lacquer scene of a mythical figure of thunder and lightning with his disheveled victims below, with gilt highlights; all edges gilt. 1880s
