This is an early work by Koloman Moser that shows the strong influence of French Art Nouveau design. The image, of a young woman admiring prints surrounded by sprigs of decorative flora and fauna is advertising portfolios of old master drawings. Later this same year, Moser became the co-founder of the Vienna Secession. His style eventually matured, becoming sharper and more geometric, with a brighter and more vivid palette.
