Additional Details

One of 250 unnumbered copies. "The artist used three elements in her illustrations: her signature band of words mimicking commercial claims in advertisements, enlarged reproductions of photographs, and a hand holding a digital clock. As the theme of King's story is the perception of the passage of time, the third element recalls that fact and is superimposed upon what seems to be slowed representation of horse accidents. Bands containing two or three words taken from the text placed on top of the indefinite pictures make direct connections to the story"--Castleman, 175.
