Illuminated manuscript, small folio; 14 leaves of manuscript and illuminations by Emily Swinton, rectos only; with an illuminated title, text in red, green, blue, and black, with intricate borders incorporating Persian designs and floral motifs, many enhanced with gold illumination; illustrated with a full-page illumination resembling a Persian carpet, and four original watercolor vignettes; bound in plain limp burgundy calf, marbled endpapers (a few wrinkles and creases); housed in a custom red leather-backed chemise inside a marbled slipcase; 11 1/8 x 7 1/2 in.
