First edition illustrated by Vedder, folio; letterpress index and notes at rear; 57 leaves featuring black-and-white Art Nouveau illustrations by Elihu Vedder (1836-1923) mounted on leaves of heavy wove paper on stubs; in an impressive pigskin binding specially made by Roycrofters for Miss Helen Ruth Morrow (blind-stamped pigskin label to front doublure), geometrically decorated in blind, wide blind-stamped turn-ins, light brown suede doublures and endleaves, all edges rust-colored; housed in the original hand-carved oak presentation box lined with suede, metal hinges and clasps (glue residue to a number of versos; hinge cracked in one place, boards a touch bowed; box with minor repairs); 15 x 12 in.
