The first catalogue has the supplement, price list, and leaf with publisher's notices bound at end of Volume 3; the second catalogue is the second issue, with titles dated 1788 instead of 1784. "The first catalogue contained manuscripts and noteworthy incunabula, and the second books. The manuscripts constitute an amazing collection of early French poetry and romances . . . the books listed in the second catalogue passed through the libraries of the Marquis de Paulmy and the Comte d'Artois into the Arsenal" (Taylor).
