Laing's series "weather" depicts a woman being buffeted by, acted on, and in the throes of a climate (primarily wind, and in the other image offered here, flying strips of newspaper) she cannot control. A commentary on global climate change, both politically and environmentally, this series brings together Laing's use of photography and performative elements.
