Condition B+: repaired tears, creases and abrasions at edges and along vertical and horizontal folds. Marton was a Hungarian artist who spent some time in Paris in the late-1920s and 1930s working for DAM, the advertising agency owned by the Damour brothers. This image is one in a series of posters published in the mid-1930s by Les Grands Réseaux de Chemins de Fer Francais, promoting travel to Paris. Other posters in the series were designed by A.M.
