According to Sparks, "In a pointed acknowledgment of Henry Ford's notorious anti-Semitism, Larry Rivers [1923-2002] painted the Hebrew word for 'Kosher' on the side of the Ford truck." This is one of two versions of this subject the Rivers made lithographs of in 1961, using the same, re-worked lithographic stone for each of the prints. Sparks 30.
