A striking set of 32 dramatic photographs relating to the 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics. With action shots and posed portraits of several athletes, including American four-time gold medalist Jesse Owens. Silver prints, the images measuring approximately 8 5/8x11 3/4 inches (21.9x29.8 cm.), and slightly smaller, and the reverse, most sheets measuring 9 1/2x11 7/8 inches (24.1x30.2 cm.), nearly all with the Tobis Zurich credit, in the negative, and with Riefenstahl's Olympia Fest der Völker and Fest der Schoenheit credit hand stamps, and her notations, in ink, on verso. 1936
