In 1947, a large series of posters was commissioned and produced by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents and printed by Loxley Brothers, in Sheffield. The artists involved in the project included Manfred Reiss, Thomas Eckersley, Abram Games, Desmond Moore, and the lesser-known Cusden.
