LEONARD RICHMOND (? - 1965) DOVER. 1931. 39 1/4x24 3/4 inches, 100x63 cm. McCorquodale, London. Condition B+: pinholes in corners; minor foxing around text; pencil number in lower left corner. Richmond, whose paintings were exhibited throughout Europe, worked for the Canadian government during World War I as a battlefield artist. Richmond also did a lot of graphic work for the British Railway companies in the 1920s and 30s, producing posters for the London Underground.
