Folio, contemporary speckled vellum with gilt-lettered leather spine label, joints split; dampstaining to top portion of contents, varies in intensity, but generally light, repaired marginal tear to Eiiii with 20 mm loss remaining along edge, small marginal chips to pages 57/58; clean tear to Alberti title; front pastedown contains two bookplates and above them, in ink "Lord Dunsany/Dunsany Castle" (his hand?), written in ink on blank portion of base of entablature on frontispiece portrait etching is "Ex-Bibliotheca St. Victoris Paris, 1655."
