Over the course of an almost 30 year career, Fries is best remembered for the two posters he designed for PKZ. Although this early piece, advertising a luggage store, reflects the prevailing German Object-Poster style of the time, Fries breaks from the traditional mold and adds two little dogs to make the scene come alive.
