Written by Ernst Maindron, Les Affiches Illustres<> was one of the 19th century's most definitive poster reference sources about French posterists (excluding Mucha, who had barely made the scene in 1895), profusely illustrated with 64 color and 102 images of posters in black and white. The series was limited to only 1050 copies.
