Additional Details

Richard Lesesne (active 1897-1935) was an American photographer who was most well known for photographing land speed record attempts at Daytona Beach, Florida, in the 1920s and 1930s. His lesser known work includes more pastoral imagery of turn-of-the-century rural Florida landscapes, during a period in which many African American families were sharecroppers in the segregated South.
