LESLIE RAGANCINCINNATI. Circa 1935. Gouache on board maquette.
40 1/2x26 1/2 inches.
Condition B: abrasions, chipping and color loss in margins and image; cracks in board.
Cincinnati's most recognizable landmark, the "Suspension Bridge" was built in 1866 by John A. Roebling, the man who would go on to build the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City two decades later. The span crosses the Ohio River, connecting Cincinnati with Covington. Maquettes of Ragan's posters are very scarce.
