Well preserved example from the prolific, though short-lived, Cleveland poet, small press publisher, activist and ersatz teacher, who was briefly associated with Madison's Free University. Famously, his class on Telepathic Communication, for which levy never showed up, proved to be "one of the most successful in all the Free University. People there assumed he was trying to teach them telepathically, and many of them heard him as they sat there meditating in the classroom. That class went on for several months after levy had returned to Cleveland -- months after levy was no longer alive" (Morris Edelson, as quoted in Golden, The Buddhist Third Class Junkmail Oracle, NY, Seven Stories Press, 1999, p. 75).
