L'HABITATION. 1936.

47 1/4x31 3/8 inches. L'Architecture d'Aujourd'Hui, Boulogne.
Condition A-: repaired tears in margins; minor abrasions along left side of image.
L'Habitation, an exhibition held every year from 1934 onwards, was organized by the magazine L'Architecture d'Aujourd'Hui at the Grand Palais in Paris and was part of the Salon des Arts Menagers. For the 1934 poster, Nathan used a trowel as his central image; in 1935 he used a photomontage of a building; and here, in yellow, blue and red, Nathan employs a plumbline.
