This charming view of Vineyard Haven Harbor is an early example of the artist's painting on Martha's Vineyard. The harbor docks in Tisbury were typical of the Martha's Vineyard subjects which Jones would revisit many times over a 60-year period, beginning with childhood summer visits to her family's residence in Oak Bluffs.
