Aylward, 3 pages of advertisements at rear. 8vo, publisher's pictorial blue cloth, top edges gilt, mild rubbing to spine tips and corners, faint stain to front board; original dust jacket, separated along all folds, spine panel surviving in three pieces with other scattered fragments, torn with loss to bottom 1-inch of blank rear panel, the head and foot of spine panel with several letters lost to title and imprint, triangular tear to upper outer corner of front panel with partial loss of image, tanning mostly confined to spine panel, needless to say quite brittle; hinges starting, endpapers toned from jacket flaps; housed in felt-lined 1/4 morocco clamshell case.
