At the time of this poster's creation, Lorenzo Homar was at the top of his game. Dubbed the "Father of Puerto Rican Graphic Arts," Homar earned his title by mentoring and paving the way for countless up-and-coming, young Puerto Rican artists. One of the strong points of Homar's design sense was his work as a calligrapher and a typographer.
