Trinquier-Trianon is mostly remembered for his stylized Art Nouveau travel posters from the turn-of-the-century. For this spa town, located near Auvergne in the center of France, he illustrates an elegant lady being served a cup of curative water by a servant dressed in the regional attire. The landscape is depicted in a straightforward, descriptive way, and the entire image is captured within thick Art Nouveau curves and punctuated with extravagant typography. The elegance and white outlining of the drawing is reminiscent of the work of Privat-Livemont. Hillion p. 79, Train 75, Chemins de Fer 46.
