Provenance: collection of the artist; thence by descent to the Loïs Mailou Jones Pierre-Noël Trust.
Jones painted many watercolor landscapes based on her various travels abroad in the 1960s. In the summer of 1967, she conducted a five week "Around the World Tour" for Howard University alumni.
