Ex-collection John William Bender (Lugt supplement 1555b, verso). With thread margins or trimmed on the plate mark. A very good, evenly printed impression of this scarce, important print.

According to Kok (New Hollstein), the impressions in Amsterdam and Chicago have similar watermarks. We have found only 8 other impressions at auction in the past 20 years. Bartsch 27; Volbehr 26; New Hollstein 27.
