Engraving, 1510. 286x450 mm; 11 1/4x17 3/4 inches. First state (of 3), before the address of Petri and the retouching of the plate. Small crowned coat-of-arms with the letter B watermark. Trimmed on the plate mark with portions of the thin black border line preserved on all sides. A very good, dark and well-inked impression of this large, scarce and important engraving with strong contrasts and little to no sign of wear, consistent with the earliest impressions of this subject.
