St. Matthew<> * St. Philip<>. Both circa 1630-40. Both approximately 210x160 mm; 8 1/4x6 3/8 inches. Both ex-collection unknown collector (Lugt 2506, versos). Both trimmed on the outer edge of the black border line. Both superb, early impressions, with strong colors and with the relief from the wood block still showing on the versos. Hollstein 11 and 15; Stechow 11 and 15.
