Using unexpected colors and his typical bold images, Hohlwein creates a graphic and dramatic landscape to advertise a town on the Bodensee (the lake that lies between Germany, Austria and Switzerland). The dangling willow branches in the foreground serve to add even further depth to the image. Not in Hohlwein.
