Condition B+: repaired tears in top margin, one affecting image; repaired tears along left edge. In the 1920s, one of Hohlwein's recognizable design concepts was to create a sense of depth in his posters by contrasting light and dark colors. Here he uses that technique to highlight the natural beauty and historical wonders of this area along the Rhine where the Marksburg Castle overlooks the town of Braubach.
