This extremely scarce t-shirt features the infamous photograph from Benglis' legendary ad that ran in the November 1974 issue of Artforum. The bold and subversive imagery sparked a controversy, eliciting extreme criticism as well as veneration. The ad opened a dialogue about women in art and reflected the greater sexual revolution happening at the time.
