First edition, quarto, engraved vignettes, bound in full contemporary red morocco with the royal arms of Louis XIV in gilt on both boards, and crowned emblem in spine compartments, with the Bibliothecae Regiae stamp in red on title, crossed out in ink, and the de-accession stamp, "Vendu Double," manuscript inscription "Ex Bibliothecae Benfacteanae"; with presentation inscription from Harry Crosby to Winship on ffep dated 1928 on ffep, blindstamp to same leaf and note in Crosby's hand that this copy formerly belonged to Walter Van Rensselaer Berry (1859-1927), and Crosby's leather book ticket inside front board, 9 1/2 x 7 1/4 in.
