Two octavo volumes, containing issues from August 1791 to July 1793; each volume with general title and four page index at rear; text printed in two columns with the full-page engraved Table of the Essential Dignities of the Planets bound between pages 134 and 135 in the second volume; text illustrations throughout, including astrological charts and palm-reading diagrams; rebound in modern quarter morocco over marbled boards, volume I edges trimmed, edges uncut in volume II (lacking half-titles in both volumes and frontispiece in volume II, second volume text leaves with three large repaired tears, spotting, and scattered minor stains, first volume largely clean and intact); I: 8 1/4 x 5 in. II: 8 3/4 x 5 1/4 in.

The Conjuror's Magazine contains ephemerides, planetary charts, and essays on occult topics including palmistry, apparitions, prophecies, magic, alchemy, puzzles, sleight of hand, psychic and paranormal activity, true crime, dice-playing, fortune-telling, and biographies of magicians.
