This charming portrait depicts the artist's daughter, Linda, who was born in 1934. When Linda was about two years old, Lowengrund and her family moved part-time to Woodstock, New York, where she became a member of the Woodstock Artists Association. She continued exhibiting in New York City through the 1940s and 1950s.
