Lunar Drill Plaque. An approximately 5-inch long segment of an actual lunar drill core tube mounted onto a 7x8-inch wood plaque. It was presented to Duke at MSC after his return from the Moon. Duke was the second astronaut to operate the lunar drill during ALSEP deployment. An engraving reads: "Licensed Lunar Drill Operator, Charlie Duke." Np, 1972
