Lunar Training Chart. A multi-colored chart that plots the CSM orbits 1 to 18 for the Apollo 17 mission. This actual chart was used by Duke in training during his role as back-up LMP for Apollo 17. A printed ID mark on the chart reads: "Lunar Orbit Chart A, Apollo 17 Revs 1 - 18, December 6, 1972, SKB 32100123-337, S/N (blank), 1st Edition October 18, 1972." The chart is assembled into a continuous roll, 1-foot wide and making a 12-foot loop. Folded to an approximately 8x12-inch size. NASA, October 1972
