LÁSZLÓ MOHOLY-NAGY
Bauhaus Ausstellung Weimar.

Color lithograph, 1923. 140x90 mm; 5 1/2x3 1/2 inches (sheet), full margins. Published by Bauhaus, Weimar, with the printed postcard text, verso. A very good impression with fresh colors.

Moholy-Nagy (1895-1946) was a leading figure in many of the avant-garde art movements that emerged in the inter-war period. He taught at the Bauhaus from 1923-28, and 20 member artists and students designed postcards as part of a publicity campaign to promote the progressive German art school. Other contributors included Paul Klee, Lyonel Feininger and Wassily Kandinsky.
