Cleret is an unknown artist whose signature, literally, looks like Jules Cheret's. Not only has he adopted Cheret's signature, but his four known posters are designed in the style of other popular artists of he era. Here, reminiscent of the humorous caricatures of Oge, Cleret depicts a very dapper man who is carrying a large pile of shirts. His expression actually appears satisfied, as the quality of the goods far outweighs his burden.
