Additional Details

From 1926-27 Dwight lived in Paris where she worked with the atelier of Edouard Duchatel to improve her lithographic skills. She made sixteen lithographs while in the French capital. Guignolette was selected as one of the "Fifty Prints of the Year" by the American Institute of Graphic Arts and its success led Dwight to create a second version printed at the studio of George C. Miller when she returned to New York (see Robinson/Pirog 17).
