Each a half-length portrait, inscribed on the mount below the image, the first partly inscribed in the image along lower edge. The first, portrait by Davis & Sanford, notated on a hand-drawn two-stave system, with holograph title. 5x4 inches (image), 6½x5½ inches overall. The second, portrait by Oscar Maurer, notated on a hand-drawn stave, with holograph tempo directive. Additionally signed by photographer on mount below photograph, in pencil. 3¼x2½ inches (image), 9x6½ inches overall; short closed tear at right edge, slight silvering in dark areas.
