Dated 1594 in ink, lower left recto and annotated in ink, lower center. Ex-collection unknown collector, small pen and ink coat-of-arms with 3 geometrical figures (not in Lugt).
This drawing is a nearly identical-sized copy after an engraving from the Story of Judith and Holofernes<> (set of 8), engraved by either Dirck Volkertsz. Coornheert or Heemskerck himself (New Hollstein 205).
