". . . Your concern is of course quite unnecessary. We are both fine and just had an excellent dinner with Mrs. Marcus [Adele Marcus (1854-1917)], who is making such a fuss in Vienna about today's 'cholera' that's affecting the whole world now. Those who live reasonably and carefully have certainly nothing to fear! So don't worry. Give my regards to Mrs. Hofman [Nina Hoffmann (1844-1914)?], also to the Löwis [family of Hermann Lowi (1827-1913)]."
