Born in London in 1931, Morley moved to New York in 1958. He became the current owner's neighbor on Longview Terrace, Yonkers, soon thereafter. In the early 1970s, when Morley was doing illustration work, for Reader's Digest among other magazines, he used the current owner's children as models.
