[181] leaves. 96x140 mm, contemporary sheep over pasteboard, portions of leather missing from top of spine and corner of rear cover; worming through endpapers and few leaves at beginning and end. The contents are mostly sentences from the original text of Quintus Curtius Rufus, De rebus gestis Alexandri Magni, paired with an Italian translation, and apothegms in Italian on miscellaneous subjects signed Il Zangrandi or Gioseppe Zangrandi. On the last page is a note in a different hand regarding the extreme cold that froze the lagoon of Venice in 1708, signed "Moise filgiolo [sic] di Jacob di Josef Baruch Carvaglio."
